What started as a thoughtful exercise about balance, turned into one of the favorite cocktails at Juniper and Ivy in San Diego. "I wanted something bright, grounded, herbal but refreshing, a cocktail that felt like it belonged in the roaring '20s—whether in a dimly lit bar or on a sun-drenched patio," says drink creator and bar lead Alex Siegelin.
1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice. 2. Shake to chill and strain into the glass. 3. Garnish.
