Medicina Latina

The Medicina Latina is an agave version of Sam Ross' Penicillin. The Penicillin pairs a blended Scotch whisky with a smoky Islay whisky whilst the Medicina Latina pairs a blanco tequila with smoky mezcal. A simple yet delicious riff on the original modern classic cocktail. The cocktail is featured in Sasha Petraske's Regarding Cocktails.

• 60,00 ml Текила blanco
• 22,50 ml Сок лайма
• 10,00 ml Медовый сироп — 3:1
• 10,00 ml Имбирный сироп
• 1,00 barspoon Мескаль

Инструкция

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except the mezcal
2. Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds
3. Double strain over ice into an old fashioned glass
4. Float the mezcal atop the drink
5. Garnish with skewered candied ginger
